Creative and Innovative Workshops

Newly equipped and super modern, our rooms are the perfect setting for business and private events: Villa Creativa provides an ideal environment for inspiring seminars, workshops, meetings and conferences. You can book our creativity rooms for all kinds of occasions. They are perfect for parents, children of all ages, school classes or company events.

Our professional team are experts in animating and taking very good care of our guests. They are especially trained to share the whole range of this remarkable game with children of all age groups and adults. Our workshops are perfect for promoting cooperation and cognitive skills, imagination, patience and self-confidence.

KAPLA®

KAPLA® is a wooden construction toy that has been produced in France since 1987. Its name derives from the abbreviation of “KAbouter PLAnkjes“, which means “gnome planks“ in Holland – the home country of its inventor, Tom van der Bruggen. The toy consists of absolutely identical pine planks that require no fasteners. They are based on the mathematical ratio of 5-3-1 (5 widths for 1 length, 3 thicknesses for 1 width).

KAPLA® is 100% ecological and is made of certified wood from sustainable forestry.
KAPLA® contains no substances that are harmful to the health of children: the wood is untreated and natural; food safe synthetic is used for coloured planks.
KAPLA® is locally produced. All planks originate from pine forests in the south-west of France near Bordeaux, where the company KAPLA® is based.
KAPLA® is a toy that respects the principles of fair trade.

We offer workshops with our game experts for children from 4 years of age upwards. Of course, your child is also welcome to celebrate his/her birthday with us.

Workshops for children 3 years and upwards

For children of all ages who love to be creative and want to discover the secret of construction. In these workshops, the children are guided by our game experts for one and a half hours. A range of exciting programmes is available depending on the age of the group. Take advantage of the workshops to offer your children a fun experience. Loads of building blocks offer an abundance of ways to build and stack.

Children´s birthday parties (for 8-12 children)

Birthdays are the best days in the year. Let us turn your child´s birthday into an unforgettable experience. At our parties there are bucket loads of fun and games for your child and his/her guests. To ensure your visit is a great success, our party hosts and game experts guide your guests through games and fun, allowing you to relax and enjoy. 2 hours long, the little party guests experience a real party adventure. Of course, there is a birthday cake as well as presents for both the birthday child and his/her friends.

Schools

You are planning a creative workshop for a school class? Wonderful, our experienced experts are here to support you.

Workshops for schools (for 10 or more children)

Create a construction project together as a school class. KAPLA® wooden planks stimulate children´s creativity. This simple construction game develops a child´s capacity for logical thinking and spatial awareness as well as enhancing the ability to concentrate. Visit us with your school class and together build a masterly class creation.

Workshop in the classroom

Our expert team comes into your classroom and together with the whole class builds a masterly creation based on a theme of your choice.

Studio

In our KAPLA® studio parents and children have the opportunity to be infinitely creative and let their imagination run free.

Game for adults and children (without supervision):
Do you want to build a huge construction together with your child and discover the world of KAPLA® blocks? Then come to us and stack thousands of blocks to create your own personal work of art.

Villa Creativa has a number of interesting offers not only for children but also for adults including, for example, team building events.

Team building/Group events:
Excitement, enthusiasm and an explosion of creativity. KAPLA® wooden blocks enhances the quality of every team event. With our guidance, every group can create simple or highly complex constructions or even the company logo or products. The aim is to stack the building blocks completely without a construction manual. This demands discipline, dexterity and fantasy. You will be immediately amazed by the simplicity of this event idea. Whether your event is for training, team building, employee motivation, kick-off, icebreaker or company party – the creative mini wooden construction inspired and built by the team gives the decisive kick. On request, we are happy to organise an attractive programme around the event including coaching, catering etc.

The Cafeteria is the perfect place for mums and dads to meet and exchange ideas in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere while their children play in the KAPLA® studio.
